SummerFit Challenge

In need of motivation to get out riding your bike more often?  The SummerFit Challenge is part of the answer.  For over 5 years now, several cyclists are completing the 52-Week Bike Challenge, riding at least 30 minutes outdoors, once on every week of the year...  and it's not always easy but always fun.

The SummerFit Challenge is the "summer" version.  It starts in May to end in September, a span of 21 weeks.  See the Rules, Incentives and the types of Certificates you will get at the end of the summer.  It's on the honour but your name goes on a private mailing list used by the Coordinator to email you tips & tricks, pep-up talks, SummerFit rides for the social aspect of the Challenge.   You'll love it!

Rules:

  • Cycling outdoors
  • At least 1hr
  • 2 times per week
  • For 20 weeks  

Incentives:

  • Improve fitness
  • Burn those tires
  • Self-esteem
  • Year-end party
  • Bragging rights
  • Personal goal
  • One week OFF

 

Certificates in:

  • Carbon Fibre frame -  all 20 weeks
  • Aluminum frame -  19 weeks
  • Steel frame -  18 weeks

 

NO Need to be a VCB Member.  The SummerFit Challenge is a VCB project open to ALL cyclists, wherever you live, whatever is your level of fitness, riding style, sex, age, religion, it is for YOU !
