Cabot Trail in 4 Days Info & Poster

In the event that individuals on the Waiting List are not called, or are called and cannot join, they will be re-imbursed 100%. 


THE CABOT TRAIL:  Named one of the TOP 10 Cycling destination in the World by Lonely Planet in 2010, the Cabot Trail is a “MUST” on the log of every cyclists.  300 km of paved roads, from softly rolling terrain to steep climbs winding its way through the quiet Margaree Valley on the first day, then following along the shores of the Gulf of St.Lawrence, the scenic Highlands National Park to end along the scenic coastal Atlantic coast of Cape Breton Island.  Cabot Trail in 4 Days is a fully supported tour where everyone can cycle at their own pace and style.  No pressure.  

ITINERARY:  Clockwise direction leaving the Gaelic College in St. Ann’s Bay on Friday July 31st to Monday August 3rd.
Day 1,  To Margaree Harbour,  85km. Day 2,  to Pleasant Bay, 70km. Day 3,  .... to Ingonish, 71km Day 4, to Gaelic College, 71km.  There will be optional side tours suggested to shorten or lengthen the day’s ride.

DETAILS:  We provide: 3 nights hotel/motel accommodation, luggage transportation, bike mechanic assistance, support vehicle at your service should you need a lift or other assistance, healthy meals Friday evening to Monday morning, Park fees, snack food enroute.  Children 16 - 18 years, must be accompanied by an adult.

PREPARATION:  Cycling the Cabot Trail requires a moderate level of fitness. Bicycles must be in good working order.

COST:  $520./pers. double accommodation; $725./pers. single accommodation.

REGISTRATION:  before June 1,  2015,  $50.  (deductible from total cost); between June 2 and July 12, 2015 - $75.  (50$. deductible from total cost).   No registration accepted after July 12, 2015
Final payment (cost - $50.) is due before July 14th.

“First Come, First Serve!”  The payment of Registration fees will confirm a spot to the first 40 registered participants on the Tour.  A “Waiting List” will be kept to fill vacancies if any.  Those on the “Waiting List” who will not be called to replace a cancellation or could not take an offer will be reimbursed 100%.  

CANCELLATION FEES:  $0.00  before June 1st,   $35. from June 2nd to  July 12th Note:  No refund for cancellation received after July 12, 2015.

IMPORTANT:  Because the organizers must meet certain conditions attached to the Group Rates, (i.e. important non-refundable deposit 90 days in advance - April 30th) the organizers reserve the right to cancel the Tour and reimburse all fees collected if the number of registrations has not reached 27 by July 12th
