Spring Tune-up, Try an E-Bike and Bike Swap

Spring Tune-Up: You’re invited to bring your bicycle to the Dominion Italian Hall to have Velo Cape Breton volunteers give your bicycle a once-over prior to the riding season. This could include things such as inflating tires, fixing flats, adjusting gears, adjusting brakes and suggesting any major repairs if needed. Stop by to make sure your bicycle is ready for the riding season ahead!

Try an E Bike: Get ready to experience the thrill of electric biking in person! Hosted by CBRM Recreation! You’ll learn the nuances of e-assist and how to use it and participate in a 30 minute community bike ride on the Coal Town Trail.

Registration is preferred to ensure you have the correct size E-bike, walk ups are more than welcome as well. Registration at CBRM Recreation.

Bike Swap: We’ll also be hosting a bike swap at the same place and time. Have you upgraded your bicycle, your children outgrown their bike(s) or you find that bicycle(s) are collecting dust in the shed? Here’s your chance to either find a new ride for yourself or family members and a give a new life to your bicycle. Come early for the best selection! There will be other cycling items for sale that were donated by club members.

NOTE: If you’re selling a bike, you must stay around until it’s sold.
